Labor Hours
The number of hours spent on repairs are called "labor hours." Estimates and invoices do not represent labor hours as consecutive clock hours. For example, a repair requiring only 7 hours of labor could take 3 days or more to complete, due to drying or "curing" time or other factors. Also, labor hours do not include an allowance for unforeseen delays, such as inclement weather, insurance supplements or parts delays.
