You also have the right to select the facility to repair your vehicle. Your insurance agent may offer referrals and your insurance company may want you to take your vehicle to one of their preferred shops.

When choosing a repair facility, some of the factors you may want to consider are the qualifications of the repair facility and their technicians. Make sure they are I-Car and/or ASE Certified and their certifications are current. This will ensure that you are receiving quality workmanship from technicians who have been trained to manufacturer's standards. Another factor is the warranty; is your repair backed by a limited lifetime warranty?
